As pointed out above this was extensively discussed before, but one other thing to think about, golf carts already have a high center of gravity, adding 50 pounds or more at the roof line will cause the golf cart to become more top heavy, and possibly subject to falling over when going around a curve, especially at 25 MPH!
The maximum you can get out of a set of PV panels that would fit on a golf cart is around 200 watts, or about 5 amps for a 48 volt cart, your charger is probably 30 amps(?) and takes several hours to fully charge.
