Agree with the above post. I have a license to carry a concealed firearm in Massachusetts, but not Florida. Although I have had a license for a long time, I have never carried a firearm in public. I try very hard to never go anywhere where it would be necessary. There are only three reasons I ever carry a pistol. When walking the dog in the woods in case we come upon a pack of coyotes, which has happened more than once. When tracking an injured deer, because it is much easier than carrying a long gun. And when going to my neighbors abandoned gravel pit to target shot.
