I'm pretty handy and I could probably do a terribly sloppy and messy amateur job myself but I know I would regret trying since dealing with anything having to do with rollers or brushes and proper preparation is not what I consider fun. Was considering DIY PVC garage tiles but epoxy sounds interesting. Yes, I am aware that I should include "anti-slip" in the coating.

Sorry I don't recall the cost of doing our two car garage 6 years ago, but I too decided to have it done professionally...given that here's a pic of my last DIY painting project.
