It has been a very long time since I have had a migraine. And when I had them, it was only a few times. But there was a pattern to them. I had always just been through some kind of stressful situation that had lasted awhile. I had always functioned well through the situation and managed to deal with it. But after the situation, whatever it was, had passed, I would get a migraine. It was weird. And somewhat predictable. And a shot of Demerol was always what it took. It was so long ago that those newer drugs may not have been on the market yet. But Demerol sure did it. But then I had to sleep the shot off. But after just a few times, the headaches just stopped happening. But I don't know why.
I am interested in what was said here about a chiropractor. I have wondered if migraines somehow originate in the neck. I once had this discussion with a physical therapist. They do neck stuff, too. I have always suspected the neck could be the culprit sometimes with migraines.
A migraine is hellish, indeed.
