Talk Show Host - you are not the only one. I've spoken to any number of people that used to be Repubs and are now saying they will vote for Obama. What is troubling to me, is how those of us who feel that way, almost feel like we have to keep it a secret. I play golf, go out with friends, go to club meetings, and many people, including those that run The Villages are very pro Republican, which is not a problem for me, but they hate that I'll vote for Obama. I've never run into that before -- if people I knew had different viewpoints, we'd just laugh about it and go on our merry way. But here, you feel like you're ostracized from society because you favor a different candidate. If you read the Villages Daily Sun you seen how that pro Republican ideal is reinforced. Letters to the editor or editorials are always pro McCain or anti-Obama. But the thing is, everyone does not think that way. There are a lot of us closet Obama people.
