Sab.
It was you that had problems with the rules being enforced about knick knacks in the yard in your previous home here in TV and you moved because of dissension about it? ( Or at least this problem entered into it?)
I went back to see some of your other posts and see that you are a musician and you practice your trumpet on the lanai?
I would imagine that a good musician would find it difficult to hear off key renditions of music or bad singing or poor efforts to perform. Some of My toddler grandsons first words to me were "NO sing Grammy". He has become an excellent musician with a good ear.
Some of us with some talents in the art field have similar sensitivities about lack of beauty and our eyes are offended by overdone and awkward placements of visual items that we must look at each day and over which we have no control.
I think that both an improperly played musical piece and an ugly front yard offend each sensitivity like screeching your nails on a chalkboard.
I think that the rules here are sensible and protect all of us.
I am not trying to "stir the pot", only trying to look at it from all sides.
