shortly after we moved here in early 2017 my wife had what turned out to be a kidney stone
...being very unfamiliar with the area I took her to the Villages hospital late one night
Yes I would have liked to have had her immediately admitted to the ER, but the wait wasn't more than 15 minutes
Not a lot different than what I'd expect if we were still down in Ft Lauderdale, or living back up near Boston
We were impressed with quality of the nursing staff and the visiting doctor who rotates from other area hospitals...it took them very little time to diagnose what the situation was...I suspected it might be a kidney stone, but my wife never had had one before
I have nothing but respect for that hospital
Now, all that said...like another person that responded to this post, I too wouldn't bring my dog there...as I didn't see any water bowls on the floor for doggies and unless your dog's nails have been clipped short they're liable to slip on the tile flooring
