The North Sumter County Utility Dependent District (NSCUDD) will hold a Special Workshop on Wednesday, May 6th at 1:P.M. at the Savannah Regional Recreation Center in the Ashley Wilkes Room to review and discuss the long-term Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) to address the disposal of solid waste and recycling.
From staff ->
“Similar to those Board Meetings held in April, the quorum for the meeting will be achieved virtually, only the Chairman will actually be in attendance at the meeting. We will be holding the meeting at the Savannah Regional Recreation Center in the Ashley Wilkes Room to ensure that if residents do attend we are able to achieve the appropriate 6 feet social distancing requirements. As information for the Board, Staff has identified the utilization of the Savannah Center for the upcoming May meetings because the sound system, audio visual and meeting set-up are on-site and the size of the room will help to assist with the self-distancing requirements. We appreciate your
understanding.”
As such, I am only allowed to attend telephonically even though I would prefer to be there in person. I have a few questions and am anxious to hear what residents have to say about the three options to help me decide what option I should vote to enact. If you can’t make this important meeting, please email your questions or comments to
nsboard@districtgov.org or directly to me at

Some details for the three options can be found on the District web site using this link ->
