The Japanese have been wearing face masks in public for decades. They are very crowded, therefore they bath and wear masks so as to not be offensive to all those in close proximity to them when they are out and about. If you feel frightened that you might catch the flu or virus when you are out and about, then wear your mask.

The Japanese do not wear face masks. Have you been to Japan? I have several times including less than a year ago. Please don't post untrue statements.
