Edit: Can you imagine the financial loss if every deceased person who died sometime in 2018 (had a 2018 tax form filed) got a $1200 check? It seems likely that is what could have happened because it makes no sense they just randomly in error chose him.
All you have to do is let your deceased father vote in November.
