We lived next to power lines for over 20 years. EMF's drop off rapidly as you move away and the distance from line to home is far enough. Unless you are up in the tower you will receive higher EMF's from your electric alarm clock, cell phone or the worst case scenario is an electric blanket which you are covering your entire body with an electric field. They are just ugly, at least we had mature tree line to block them.
