Florida population 21,500,000 divided by 7500 = 2867 expected deaths from flu. Covid 19 deaths = 1600

Your flu numbers are not just for 8-10 weeks. Plus, FL has a disproportionately lower number of flu deaths. Finally, flu is mitigated by climate, vaccine, etc. COVID-19 is not. I’m not saying a cautionary approach to resuming some activity isn’t warranted, but comparing this to the flu is misleading.
