Who was George Floyd?
I just started to try to find out what I could about him and could not come up with very much although I imagine more will come out in the future. He was from the Houston area and had been in jail/imprisoned several times, going back at least to 1998. At least twice he had used a firearm committing a crime. The aggravated robbery for which he was imprisoned for five years is troubling, at least to me, although fortunately the victim was not shot. He moved to Minneapolis to get a fresh start in 2007.
