If you read the actual report you will see that they differentiate between people who are pre-symptomatic and those who are asymptomatic. Pre-symptomatic are people who have COVID -19 but have not yet started to have symptoms. All the data shows that these people reach their highest infectiousness 2-3 days before they actually display symptoms. Asymptomatic are people who have COVID-19 but only a mild case and they never really display any symptoms and seem to be less infectious.
The reason for social distancing and masks is to prevent spread due to the pre-symptomatic people who are highly infectious but do not yet realize they are sick and can give the virus to others.
Please look at all the facts.
