tl;dr version: MOST crimes against children by one of their parents, were committed in white families where both parents were still married to each other.
Moral of the story: you don't have to be a single black parent to commit a crime or devalue your child's life. You should probably be white instead, since the odds are greater that you'll do exactly that.
One parent of ANY color will have a harder time managing child-rearing than a happily married couple of ANY color. But as you demonstrate so amazingly clearly, a single black parent will automatically be placed lower on the food chain, simply by virtue of the color of his/her skin. |
