I have a friend who told me yesterday that there is going to be a BLM protest march in her town in the northern Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania today (30 minutes from Allentown). She was excited about it and planning to march, but worried because people opposed to the march have promised to be there, armed. Why a march? Her town has under 3,000 people. There are no African-Americans living there. She hasn’t heard of any police brutality there. The town votes 95% red. That suggests that the BLM marchers are doing this in hope of starting a confrontation that will turn violent and make the news and cause a lot of bad publicity for those opposed. I begged her to stay home, and maybe she will. This is so sad to see.
