According to the FL Covid web site, we had 11,385 reported new cases and 93 new deaths yesterday. Those are real tragedies for families and not just numbers. So you can poo-poo the media reporting but if it leads you to disbelieving the seriousness of this pandemic, then just wait. You'll no doubt become personally enveloped in the crisis, whether as a Typhoid Mary spreader or a victim, and thus one of the statistics.

Exactly, deaths are recorded by the Florida department of health on the day they are reported. The original poster would like the recording to be recorded on a different date, increasing the numbers on the prior date based on his preference to accuse the media of distorting data.
The total number of deaths would not change, and the media is reporting data, not distorting data.
It’s the desire to call it fake news to minimize the impact of COVID 19 deaths.
Others tried to claim that COVID 19 deaths are underreported, however the total number of deaths compared to prior years is actually greater than the number of COVID deaths reported. If someone, for example has heart disease, also has COVID 19 and dies ina hospital the recording of death may say COVID 19, since that Person would not have died otherwise, although the underlying condition contributed to his or her death.
