Sorry to hear of the loss. Unfortunately, a wedge of any type is more likely to be stolen than something like an 8 iron for example. Many golfers buy wedges separately (as unmatched clubs) to complement their set of irons, so finding someone's good wedge may be quite enticing. The idea of name/address labels is a good one. I left an 8 iron on the green recently and wished I had my name on it. Luckily someone did turn it in. Try the starter shack in a week or two, and someone may have realized it was in their bag by mistake and will turn it in. If they only play once a week, it may take them awhile before they notice.
