Get what? Isn't it about time that folks get over living in the past and get on with the future? Tired of hearing about how this GREAT country is so bad and should be "ashamed" for something that happened a hundred or more years ago. Sorry, but I wasn't alive then and do not take credit or blame for a record or history that I had no influence in whatsoever. I do NOT feel ashamed of my country. I am proud of my country and proud (not ashamed) that I had the privilege to serve it.

Time for folks to be proud of what we have become, NOT ASHAMED of what we might have been or what some folks perceive of our past. EVERY country in the world has a past history with blemishes. WE just happen to have improved ours and made our country GREAT and the best in the world.
