Default Nest not user friendly

We had Nest for two years and found it frustrating to use. It is not easy to adjust manually. I'm comfortable with technology but thought the thermostat was unnecessarily complicated. As noted in another response, you cannot set a specific temperature but only a range (which admittedly can be limited to 3 degrees). It seemed that the furnace was kicking in more often than necessary cooling, then heating, then cooling. We are pleased to have moved to a house without a Nest and would not consider one again. To be fair, perhaps an updated model has worked out some of the bugs.
