I have a stash of notecards, but there’s not much room for what I want to write. Besides that, they are too little for my big, loopy handwriting — that always goes uphill.

(I read somewhere, a long time ago, that the uphill part is supposed to mean I am an optimist — or was it a psychopath — can’t remember which one. I probably read the article in the 70s in Cosmopolitan. Now I read Atlantic — but I digress.)

Anyway, my big, kind of messy handwriting needs some regular stationery, plain. I would like for the paper to have some weight to it. (Remember when we chose paper by weight so our resumes would stand out in the pile.)

I did a quick look online but I can see it would take all day to get past the bride-market or the cutesy stuff.

All I want is plain, classy looking stationery. Has anyone ordered such a thing recently?

There are notes to be written that I want to do in the old-fashioned way.

Sincerely,

You can still buy 30 to 40lb weight paper from Staples or Amazon. I then print my name/address etc at top of each page using an interesting font. (I do desktop publishing projects). I'd be happy to do this for you if you'd like. No charge.
