It is more probable that the teen got it from another student that was asymptomatic or one that showed very little symptoms. My wife is a high school teacher and the rate of infection in her high school is alarming at the very least. I wrote about this last March when some said they would never wear a mask. There is no consequence to spreading the virus. No one is guilty of transmitting the virus because it cannot be proven that they did so. If the virus brought along DNA from the one transmitting it than yes the source could be identified. But it doesn't so that woman is innocent until proven guilty and considering it cannot be proven then I guess she's as innocent as all the asymptomatic students.
