Teen got Covid while 20 feet away from infected person indoors

This is sobering. This Covid virus is crazy good at transmitting itself, way more than previously expected.

Yes. Did you even read the article or do you always assume asian news from a well established news source is fake. :ohdear:

I know people want to believe that if you golf you're outdoors so you won't catch COVID. I know of at least 3 people who golf and do nothing else... no lunch... no drinks... no other social interaction, yet they all got COVID. Their only interaction was golf. Just be aware...

" Dr. Megan Murray, an infectious-disease expert at Harvard, previously told Insider that while any dining outside the home comes with risk, eating outside in the sun with a decent breeze at a to-go-style restaurant is among the safest.

"Very crowded spaces without good ventilation, like bars," are the most dangerous, Murray said."

I watch NTD news all the time, one of few that actually reports news I have no reason to believe SK news is agenda driven like main stream news in the country.

Golf should of never got free pass in the beginning just because it’s money maker. It’s not actually playing it the social activity before and after.

I dissagree. Golf here is not as big of a "money maker" as some people think

So what's new?
If our grandkids had a cold, and entered our house with it, I for one would catch it 90% of the time.
Given the right conditions, any airborne virus, will spread easier in an enlosed space, than outside.
This report is just another way to dramatise the news.

kendi 12-12-2020 06:09 AM

If this were true it would stand to reason that many more people have been infected with COVID than we know. And for all these people we didn’t know about it was no big deal. That’s good news.

Studying one event does not prove anything no matter how much measuring one does. Good solid studies include many subjects and going to extensive lengths in an attempt to avoid any unintended factors that could skew the results. One of those many factors being something as simple as human error.

I read the article and am still suspicious. It's not like there are some teen agers don't create attention.
