I have no idea why they are using such large needles, but I am not a medical person. I have given plenty of shots though, and give one to her every month and the needle is very small. Maybe someone on here knows why the vaccination needle is so large? And thick as well as long. No wonder folks are sore when they do it. The idea is usually to relax your arm as much as possible before they insert the needle and it won't hurt as much.

I noticed that today, the Publix site only had 143 appointments for Marion County. Last Friday, they had 1,790. I wonder why? I was able to book 3 appointments for friends, but they were in Volusia County.
