And there in lies Jordan's problem. The fact is that he never had a complete world class game. His ball striking has always been weak. He was a spectacular putter. For a few years he was close to the greatest putter in history. But when a player depends so much on one part of his game, and it eventually begins to fail him, and it always will, he doesn't have enough of the other parts of his game to compete like he once did.
