If you have an older style system, with the electromechanical flasher unit there are many replacements available. You need to look at the number of wires from the unit, minimum is 7 and I have seen up to 10 depending on additional functions like a horn button, or lights. These usually have a standardized color code, so in many cases you can simply remove to old unit and splice the wires together (color for color) with high quality crimp connectors. I do not believe it is possible to repair the 'stick' that broke.
