I'm sure that there are still plenty of folks currently in the hospitals that would welcome a pill that would cure them. You do know that there are millions that still haven't been vaccinated, right? As for "choking to death on your own mucus" you paint a pretty grim picture when you consider that MOST of those infected have NOT had such a symptom. I know of at least a dozen that have had COVID that shrugged it off in a couple of days or suffered some cold-like symptoms for a couple or so days. I do not consider the idea of "pill OR vaccination." I consider the pill as a cure for those that have not or cannot get the the vaccination and have become infected.
