Actually, yes, I did. Went to the Linksys web site and got the answer. See the link in my previous post. The whole issue revolves around MAC cloning. Apparently the cable companies' modems require Media Access Control cloning with the router. Once you perform the MAC cloning and go thru the power down and up cycle, the router syncs with the modem and away you go.
