I do agree, however under the law it is not. As far as invasion of privacy you will be shocked how much information about you is on the internet. On me, I used to laugh about what it said about me on spokeo. I do not give valid information out on surveys. Spokeo used to say I am over 150 years old and money, more than Buffet. My aunt, now in assisted living,must have looked it up as she is the only one listed that I know. I will not call her to object. But, she does not know when I was born or my birthday.

Not meaning to debate the laws of privacy with you, but filming the front of the house from the street comes pretty close to it, if not invited to do so.
You didn't respond to my question, however: your reason for it. Hey, how about those guys who were filming in front of the school on Rolling Acres? They were on public property but still got arrested.
