We have a large Lanai and used to have the same water problem as you are experiencing. We had Watkins Gutters (watkinsgutters.com) install gutters with their leaf-guard accessory and... problem over.
These folks are the BEST gutter vendor in this entire area (and 5-star rated). Hard working, honest, friendly, and VERY competitive local family owned business. I can't recommend them enough.
Plain gutters alone may not work as without the leaf-guards the gutters may plug up quickly (at least ours did) and then overflow. You have to make sure the gutters maintain their water discharge ability, or you're right back where you started from.
Watkins was 1/6th as expensive as the highest other quote I received, and the Watkins quality was 5 times better than any gutter vendor we have ever used.
