If it is Empire Zoysia, just water it.

One of our sprinkler heads was not working right so one part of our yard was totally brown. We watered it and now it looks great.

If it is St. Augustine, you may have to replace it.

From what I understand, Zoysia has deep runners and they are still alive even it the grass is brown. St. Augustine has runners close to the surface, so if the grass is brown, the runners may be dead as well.
