I was under a really big misunderstanding and did not realize we have access to year-round hazardous waste disposal. I found the number, and the site is located in Sumterville and does accept old gasoline at no cost. I will be dropping it off later this week.
Hazardous waste site: 819 County Road 529 (according to GMaps Sumterville 33585) accoriding to Sumter County (Lake Panashofsky?) 8 to 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday, apparently no local phone number.
