The subject...noise pollution is interesting to me. I have an inherited hearing loss. Some people have something called "hyperacusis" where sounds that do not bother other people, bother them.
In an area with a lot of new construction there will be a lot of annoying sounds that will very quickly disappear as that area is finished with construction.
