It'd be great if there is long lasting protection after infection for anyone who gets symptomatic infection even if they get a MAT or pill version of an anti-viral. I.e. just ramp up the therapeutics and treat to get a solid sterilizing immunity in the widest possible cohort. Not saying vaccines don't have a place, just saying it's not the way out since the immune response is inferior.

Yes that would be interesting. The Israeli data on protection levels for vaxed unvaxed and covid survivors is quite interesting. The only categories with 90% plus risk prevention are vaxed plus booster, covid survivor, and covid survivor with one shot.
I'd much rather get on a plane with people in those three categories than those vaxed more than 6 months ago or the unvaxed.
