The panel an outlet are both in the garage so it should be ok to use conduit along the block wall. That will cut down on the cost of the cable and time.

I would appreciate hearing from you regarding what Pike says. I had read that 75 Amps is required but can't remember where I read that. We have a double for a dryer but we have a gas dryer so it could be removed, not sure what code is regarding the box itself.
