But seriously folks.... I don't like a faster driver on my butt, so when the oncoming lane is clear, and I know the driver behind wants to pass, I move as far right as I can, so he/she can see, and when they start to pass I slow down a bit to make it easier for them to safely get around me. Doesn't cost me a thing to let them go.

When I am overtaking a slower cart, it really depends upon how much slower they are, and how easy and safe it is to pass, and how long of a trip I have ahead of me. I can go 18 instead of 20. I am seldom in a hurry. I prefer to leave a few minutes earlier than absolutely necessary, and go with the flow. But if I want to pass, I stay back so I can see around the cart in front of me, and when I make my move I just go. I've never had to drag race the cart I was passing. Usually they are going as fast as their cart will go anyway. That's why I need to pass them.
