Let’s ignore the snark from some posters here this morning. That is what is really stinking up this thread.
Geoffrey Chaucer wrote about farts in “The Canterbury Tales” in 1387. Shakespeare threw in a few farts, too. He was a master of the double entendre. There is a book titled “Shakespeare’s Bawdy” about his humor, farts included. Both of those literary giants understood the human condition, as do/did all great writers. . .
So! We are actually having a high level literary discussion now.
I will get back to work on trying to share ye olde fart thread, circa 2008.
