George Thorogood has several good drinking tunes. If you don’t start drinking, I’m gonna leave. I drink alone. And one bourbon, one scotch (not one shot), and one beer. I saw George at a dive bar in 1978 called the Rusty Nail, in Sunderland, MA before he made it big. The cover charge to get in was $2.00 and it was one of the best shows I ever had the pleasure to attend. At the time, George had just given up his aspersions to be a Major League Baseball player and decided to pursue his musical career full time. His career choice worked out very well.
