yes...but the difference isn't enough to really get excited about, and boycott buying a house that is in Lake County because of taxes is foolish
Sumter county taxes may be going up...they've been flat for a while
the difference is really short money in the total scheme of things
also, keep in mind the houses in Pine Hills and Pine Ridge are newer (so younger roofs)
it's difficult to compare apples to apples, house to house between the two counties, but we're not talking anywhere close to thousands of dollars....
If you're on a tight fixed budget, it might be a consideration, if a few hundred dollars makes a difference...but again, it's not like you're sending a kid off to college
