Depending on what needs to be done, if you are Medicare age, some of the cost might be picked up. That depends on your field of vision.
I knew, from the beginning, that mine would be only cosmetic so I had planned to have to pick up the whole cost.
If you think you might be interested, you can probably make an appointment for a consultation where they should give you the test where you push a button when you see a light enter your field of vision. They are measuring whether your vision is blocked. After that, they should tell you the cost of your specific situation so you can decide what you want to do.
A friend just had the whole nine yards — lids, above the lids, bags below removed, and a brow lift. Medicare picked up some of it — I think the lid part. (I did not need all that, just needed to get rid of some drooping skin above the crease, not blocking my vision though — yet. I had been thinking about it for a long time — and the time had come. It was for vanity, but it needed to be done for me.)
