Im following the story of the IRS bond issue that is really not an issue for people in the Villages themselves except that the Orlando newspaper is trying so hard to rile people up. Is it that so many people are too smart to get riled up and instead are letting the law do what its has to do? But when I look at the site, at any time I see maybe 40 or 50 of the same people over and over looking or writing. Out of 75000 plus all the wannabees. Wheres everyone? Why arent more people involved?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong here but I believe the 75,000 figure is based upon the number of homes in TV times two people in each home.
So that figure is not exactly correct. We know a number of single folks that live here and a few folks that own one, two even three homes for rentals. So for the purpose of marketing the 75,000 is nice but I believe actually it is a bit lower. I can not remember where I heard it but I seem to recall someone telling me the actual population is around 60,000 not sure if that is correct.

To answer your question of "wheres everyone", I frequently find people asking me how I found out about something and I tell them on TOTV. Of course the next question is how do I get that or join.
