I've seen reports and YouTube videos of people buying a ChangLi vehicle direct on the Alibaba chinese website for around $2000 or less and importing it themselves. The "dealer" mentioned here imports them, adds a few things, then jacks up the price to $8000+. Not suggesting you import one yourself if you wish to, but check out some of the YouTube videos and reviews. Personally, I wouldn't buy one for use around here.
