I did it! I finally did it!

I had my eyelids done.

And I do not have that look of perpetual surprise. I do not look weirdly alert.

The bruising is almost gone. The swelling is almost gone. I always heal fast so I am.

I am still doing the frozen peas routine, just not as often. Longer than the instructions said though. And although I guess I do not have to sleep propped up now that the week is over, I probably still will for a few more days. (I think I must be trying to be one of those over-achiever types.)

By the weekend, I might be ready to nonchalantly appear in public. Wearing sunglasses to social things indoors though might just look suspicious.

I think I am supposed to wait a month before I am allowed to put on mascara and eyeliner. I will know for sure next week at the post-op visit. Anybody reading this want to volunteer how long they had to wait to put on a little eye makeup?

It looks like my only regret will be that I did not do this sooner.

I did not do this in TV. I am in my hometown right now where I know the territory and could ask at least 5 people who to go to.

But I thought maybe others here might want to share their blepharoplasty experiences and recommendations. Nobody can see us here so nobody can scrutinize the work. I love being anonymous on TOTV.

Boomer (lookin’ just like my senior picture. . .hmmmm, maybe I should change my high school hairstyle though. )
This made me laugh I was a service tech in the villages for many years. A lady called for service and she told me she just had surgery and don't be alarmed when she answered the door. When I saw her I understood. We both had a good laugh.
