Another my lawn can take your lawn thread. There is no such thing as a perfect lawn plant, they all have issues. What we insist on growing, does not exist anywhere in nature.

If, you introduce another type of grass, you will end up with different types of grass in different parts of your lawn, whichever does better with less water or more shade or.......will overpower some other variety. You will not end up with the mixed lawn some seem to hope for. Your neighbor. If, you introduce a different grass, it will not stay in, on your property. Essentially, planting weeds that will spread onto your neighbor's lawn.

If, your lawn does not look well, truly simple, discover what you are doing wrong.
Adding another problem, a new problem is likely not the solution.
