As previously noted, this trike will be unstable when turning. Second, this bike has cadence only peddle assistance. This is unnatural feeling and frankly at 3k you should be getting more (torque sensing). Third it has fat tires. Forth, while it does have great lithium cells, it otherwise had cheap components for a $3k bike.

Others have noted, a recumbent trike is the best route. If the low seating is a flexibility issue look into HP Velotechnik, a German brand. The bike has add on handicap accessories available that make it easier to get in and out of. As far as visablity get Cygolite brand lights, they have a 350 lumen rear light with a sunshine beating eyecatcher display or a strobing 1200 lumen front strobing headlight best yet made in USA and no Chinese marketing lies on brightness.

At all costs avoid the Pedigo ebike store near Lowes on 466a. They have vastly overpriced products that are mediocre to acceptable (at best). For 3k you deserve quality.

Edit to add:. It's a urban legend that you need fat tires to support more weight. Not so, what you need is Quality. I have a Two wheeler where the tires will support 660 lbs. They are not fat tire
Wow 125 miles a week. I do no where near that. If, I recall tires last roughly 3,000 miles that is 6 months.
