Florida seems to allow electronic versions of your insurance but not sure about registration. Since we travel out of state frequently and don't know the laws in other states we always keep them in the car.
Name to address lookups are fairly easy to find. Having that information in the car makes it a little easier but not much. I would be more concerned that someone broke into (or stole) my car.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
