All this "who ha" about Dish or Direct TV in thunderstorms is BS. Will they lose signal during severe weather, Yes it does happen for but just for a few minutes. We've had Dish TV for almost 20 years and love having the DVR storage in our set top box as well as connectivity to multiple other TV's and wireless devices (phone, laptop, ipads, ect).
As for NFL Sunday Ticket, we get the NFL Redzone which shows all the best plays, as they happen, from all the games every Sunday (with no commercials).
