I think you're right. The NFL is still doing a lot of patriotic things and donating lots of money to charity. As I said, I've enjoyed following my team for over 60 years. Being down here and watching there games brings back a little feeling of home. I fell that if I stopped watching games because of a few morons, (and they are in the minority) then they win and I lose.
I'm not criticising people who have chosen to not watch games because of them. I just think that we all have to make our own decisions.
