As far as Kaepernick goes, he was the starting QB for a popular team. He had what Teddy Roosevelt called "the bully pulpit". He could have taken the microphone and made his statements. I would have preferred "America is the greatest country ever, but it is not perfect. We still have problems and these are what I think they are......."
But no, he had to disrespect America, our flag, and all those who fought and died so he could make millions throwing a ball around. Instead of a constructive conversation, he had to show "defiance" and disrespect. Useless piece of human garbage.

As I was reading your reply I looked up at the top third of my screen and there sat an ad for shirts made of carved up US flags with stupid sayings added. Another example of desecrating the flag to make a buc, but no one seems to care about that
