I agree. You definitely need to do research to get the correct sound outputs. Even a lot of high end soundbars will not output sound to Bluetooth headphones. And, if your TV doesn't have an optical audio output, you may need to find a soundbar with RCA inputs, which are fast becoming obsolete on soundbars. Also, you need a soundbar that will allow you to control the volume with the same remote as your TV or cable box remote. Soundbars can be very confusing to set up.
